The Imperial Dragoon Strike Fleet was formed during the time of the First Return
of the Emperor, approximately 6 years after his Death at Endor and 1 year after
the death of Grand Admiral Thrawn. The Strike Fleet was commissioned for
Emperor Palpatine's newly appointed Grand Admiral, Cyric Warchild. The
Emperor created this Strike Fleet to send it to the Outer Rim and Unknown
Regions to explore it for potential Imperial Citizens and Military Enlistees, as
well as to hunt down further resources and people to exploit. The Fleet
left Byss shortly after it's Commissioning and before the Second Death of the
Emperor.
