This is currently the most elite force in the Imperial Dragoon Strike Fleet, or ever known of as of yet.  Not one unit in all the Imperial Factions, or the New Republic, comes close to the expertise and effectiveness of this unit.  Selected from only the best of the Imperial Sovereign Protectors, this unit is thoroughly indoctrinated in the use of the Dark Side.  The Gom Jabbar may reach the rank of Grand Master in the use of the Dark Side, and their Dark Jedi rank has a factor in the Military rank they may hold.

            The Gom Jabbar's are the Grand Admirals bodyguards, everywhere he goes.  They fly Fighters as his personal escort, to shielding him when walking to and from his ship, and other required high profile functions.  Also, they are his personal Assassins.  When the Grand Admiral wants someone eliminated without any chance of the mission failing, or to let the victim know who ordered it, he send his Gom Jabbar.
